Not ready to book yet? With Hold Fare Service, you can secure your reservation and freeze the price for up to 24 hours for just 1 OMR! Simply select the Hold Booking option on the SalamAir website or the mobile app, and you’ll have 24 hours to finalize your plans at the same great price. Book your ticket at your convenience.
Terms and Conditions – Hold Fare Service
1. Eligibility & Availability
- The Hold Fare service is available for bookings made 48 hours prior to departure.
- The availability of this service is subject to airline discretion and may vary based on demand and operational factors.
2. Hold Period & Auto-Cancellation
- Once a booking is placed on hold, it will remain in the system for 24 hours.
- If the booking is not ticketed within the period, it will be automatically canceled without further notice.
3. Hold Fee & Payment
- A non-refundable hold fee of 1 OMR applies to each booking.
- This fee is charged at the time of selecting the Hold Fare Service and is not deducted from the final ticket price.
4. Modifications & Cancellations
- The hold fee remains non-refundable even if the passenger decides not to proceed with the booking.
- Changes to the booking held, including modifications to travel dates, routes, or passenger details, may require rebooking, subject to fare availability and applicable charges.
5. Final Ticketing & Fare Conditions
- The fare and conditions applicable at the time of holding the booking will remain valid only for the hold period.
- If the fare conditions change or if the ticket is not issued within 24 hours, the passenger must book a new fare as per the latest available rates.
6. General Terms
- Standard fare rules and conditions, including baggage allowance and refund policies, apply once the ticket is issued.
- The airline is not responsible for any losses incurred due to auto-cancellation of the held bookings.
