1. Eligibility
- This service is available to all passengers of SalamAir who purchase the service through the official SalamAir website during the booking.
- The service is valid for a single flight or booking and must be purchased separately for each new booking.
2. Service Fee
- The price for subscribing to this service is 0.250 OMR per flight booking.
- Payment for this service is non-refundable under any circumstances except as required by applicable laws.
3. Duration of Service
- The service is activated upon booking confirmation if the WhatsApp notification option is selected and remains up to 24 hours after the flight's arrival at its final destination.
4. How to Subscribe
- Passengers can subscribe to the WhatsApp Notification Service exclusively through the SalamAir website at the time of booking.
5. Scope of Notifications
Passengers will receive the following types of notifications:
- Flight booking confirmation.
- Successfully checked-in with boarding pass details.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must provide a valid WhatsApp-enabled phone number during the subscription process.
- It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that their device is connected to the internet to receive notifications. SalamAir is not liable for missed notifications due to connectivity issues or incorrect contact information.
7. Limitations and Disclaimers
- The service is limited to notifications only and does not facilitate two-way communication through WhatsApp. By selecting the Hold Fare Service, passengers agree to these terms and conditions.
- SalamAir is not responsible for any delays, omissions, or errors in notifications due to technical issues or third-party service disruptions.
- SalamAir reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service without prior notice.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
- By subscribing to the service, passengers agree to allow SalamAir to process their personal information, including flight details and contact numbers, solely for the purpose of providing the WhatsApp Notification Service.
- SalamAir adheres to strict data privacy policies and will not share passenger information with third parties except as required to provide this service.
- By agreeing to these terms, you consent to receive promotional offers, news, and updates from SalamAir.
9. Refund Policy
- The fee for this service is non-refundable. In case of flight cancellations initiated by SalamAir, the service fee may be refunded at the airline’s discretion.
- If a passenger voluntarily cancels their booking for any reason, no refund will be applicable for the service.
- If a passenger is denied boarding due to reasons such as non-compliance with the travel provider's policies, failure to present valid travel documents, or any other circumstances under the passenger’s control, no refund will be applicable for the service.
- In the event of any dispute or disagreement arising from this Refund Policy or any other aspect of the booking, the laws and courts of the Sultanate of Oman shall have full jurisdiction and authority over the matter.
